Construction Update – April 24, 2023

Over the last week, Wohlsen Construction has been working on the following projects at Chestnut Ridge at Rodale:

Work Accomplished This Week:

Building A

▪ Began balcony railings around the exterior
▪ Began kitchen backsplashes on 3ʳᵈ floor
▪ Began millwork in pub area
▪ Began installing commercial kitchen equipment
▪ Began installing pool equipment
▪ Continued elevator retrofit work in elevator 2
▪ Continued entry vestibule framing
▪ Continued installing brick louvers
▪ Continued carpet in 3ʳᵈ floor units
▪ Continued shower doors in 3ʳᵈ floor units
▪ Continued LVT in 3ʳᵈ & 2ⁿᵈ floor units
▪ Continued unit casework on 2ⁿᵈ floor
▪ Continued ceramic tile on 1ˢᵗ floor units
▪ Completed EIFS on north elevation
▪ Completed Juliet balcony railings in courtyard
▪ Completed ceiling grid install in kitchen & bistro
▪ Completed MEP rough-ins at employee break room

Building B

▪ Began storefronts at the game room
▪ Received appliances for 4N & 4W units
▪ Began LVT in 3N & 3W units
▪ Continued stone veneer on North elevation
▪ Continued balcony railings
▪ Continued balcony vinyl soffits
▪ Continued caulking exterior windows and patio doors
▪ Continued unit kitchen countertops & backsplashes
▪ Continued VCT in mechanical & IT rooms
▪ Continued cabinet install in 1ˢᵗ floor units
▪ Continued wood trim in 1ˢᵗ floor units
▪ Completed LVT flooring in 4N & 4W units
▪ Completed thermostats on 4ᵗʰ & 3ʳᵈ floors

▪ Began removing trees along 10ᵗʰ St & East side of Building A
▪ Continued carport framing in south parking area
▪ Completed curbs to prepare for balance of paving
