Chestnut Ridge Celebrates Dog Park Ribbon Cutting

Chestnut Ridge at Rodale celebrated an official ribbon-cutting for its dog park on Tuesday, July 15. Residents gathered outside the dog park’s entrance before the ceremony began, where they mingled with their fellow animal lovers.

Heather Brand, Executive Director of Phoebe Richland, rang in the event with a speech dedicated to the companionship and enhanced quality of life that pets bring to the Phoebe community. Residents and their dogs watched as Lifestyle Specialist Kristin Pekarik cut the ribbon, cheering and barking as it fell.

Attendees were treated to water and lemonade, while dogs were given custom-made dog treats with the Phoebe Ministries logo on them.

As everyone filtered into the park, residents had the opportunity to have their photos professionally taken with their pets.

Between photos, Chestnut Ridge dogs sprinted around the park with pure joy and freedom. Residents watched and laughed as their canine family members pranced about. The park features easy access trash bags, a wide-open space, and secure fences.

Chestnut Ridge makes living with a pet easy, with its walking trails, dog park, and dog washroom. To learn more about Chestnut Ridge, schedule a tour today.
