Chestnut Ridge Residents Raise Money for Alzheimer’s Association
In an act of collective selflessness, residents of Chestnut Ridge at Rodale have begun raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association by selling treats and beverages in the community’s main dining area.
With the help of resident leaders like Lori and Jerry Epler, the campus hosted three distinct fundraising events over the past few months, selling items like lemonade, fresh pretzels, and other baked goods. A coin jar also allowed individuals to donate directly.
The money collected from these events has contributed to early fundraising efforts for Chestnut Ridge’s spot in the 2025 Lehigh Valley Walk to End Alzheimer’s. In the first two fundraisers alone, the campus has raised over $1400, and that number continues to grow as the September 20 Walk approaches.
The Alzheimer’s Association is one of the country’s largest health organizations pursuing care and research for Alzheimer’s Disease. To donate directly to the cause, please visit the Chestnut Ridge sponsored page.
