Nite Flyte Brings the House Down at Chestnut Ridge Concert Series
Chestnut Ridge at Rodale has officially kicked off their 2025 Summer Concert Series! Featuring talented artists from across the local community, the Summer Concert Series brings culture, fun, and entertainment to our residents.
In the second of five shows the campus will host this summer, the five-piece cover band Nite Flyte visited Chestnut Ridge to celebrate a patriotic-themed evening on Thursday, July 3.
The harsh weather may have forced the concert indoors, but the energetic atmosphere provided an unforgettable night for our residents.
Nite Flyte’s setlist was a crowd-pleasing, American-tinged trip from the ’50s through today. The band’s three vocalists constantly bounced off each other and harmonized in pitch-perfect renditions of “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Dreams.”
Many of the songs from their set included upbeat, danceable moments, which had residents flocking to the “dancefloor” to enjoy. Others were slow-burning ballads with Chestnut Ridge couples embracing each other and swaying along.
The dining area featured Fourth of July decorations to bring the theme together. Kristin Pekarik, Lifestyle Specialist, served sun-kissed alcoholic beverages and soft drinks to anyone who wanted one from icy coolers.
The night was a vibrant display of life at Chestnut Ridge, and we cannot wait for the next show!
